Must I have a video visit? What about phone?
Right now, insurance companies are only covering video platform, or video conference, psychotherapy sessions. I can provide phone sessions but they are not covered by insurance and will be provided at my private pay rate.

What platform do you use?
I use Doxy.me for our telemental health appointments as our preferred method due to its HIPAA compliance.

Does it matter where I'm located?
As long as you are located within the state of Georgia, I can serve you.

I am uncomfortable with Technology. How can I get online to see you?
Doxy.me is very simple to use. I will send a link to your email address you click on it and it takes you straight to my virtual waiting room. Feel free to contact me if you have trouble or questions.

How do I schedule?
If you are already seeing me, please call me directly to arrange a video conference for telehealth therapy. If you are a new patient, please call my office at (678) 464-3941 or email [email protected] and ask to schedule a Telemental Health appointment.
I am also continuing to see patients in person as well.
I have immediate openings for tele-therapy (video or phone sessions) and would be honored to support you during this time of uncertainty. Start with a FREE 20-minute intake!

Education and Experience

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Georgia. After moving to Georgia from California where I received my Master's Degree, I worked as an independent contractor at PACT Atlanta, LLC, a large psychiatric practice affiliated with Emory Decatur Hospital, for many years. While there I treated a wide range of behavioral health issues including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorders, trauma and stress related disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, personality disorders, schizophrenia, chronic illness, pain and related issues, relationship issues, couples and marriage therapy, sexual dysfunctions and family relationship issues. I then worked with a group of knowledgeable psychologists in North Atlanta on Powers Ferry Road before I began my private practice in the Brookhaven-Buckhead area.
I am a Clinical Member of the Georgia Association of Marriage and Family Therapists as well as a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
I attend professional workshops and education courses on a regular basis to stay informed on the most effective methods of therapy. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use these methods extensively in couples therapy. I use an eclectic array of techniques in individual therapy with my primary focus being on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Theory. Please visit my Practice Areas page for more information.
I have been practicing for 12 years and have had extensive experience for the past 8 years working with people diagnosed with terminal illness as well as their family members, physicians and other support systems.
I received my Master's Degree in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, California in 1997.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1992.
